Products and prices

Prices are in euros. VAT exempt: special exemption scheme for small businesses (Belgian VAT Code, art. 56bis). Shipping is shown before you pay and added at checkout. The order is made when your payment is accepted on the checkout page; you receive a receipt and an invoice by e-mail.

SeaGlance Basic is a do-it-yourself board set: two bare circuit boards, an assembly guide and a user manual, and an owner code for the print files, the drawings and the software installer online. It is not a finished product. You source the other parts, print the printed parts and assemble, solder and test it yourself, following the guide. The parts you buy elsewhere are not part of this sale. Ships within 10 days.

SeaGlance Studio DIY is a do-it-yourself board set on the same terms as the Basic: the same two bare circuit boards, the Studio assembly guide and the user manual, and an owner code for the Studio print files, drawings and software installer. You source the other parts, print the pedestal and assemble, solder and test it yourself.

SeaGlance Basic, perfboard (online) is digital content only: an owner code that opens the perfboard build guide, the user manual, the print files, the drawings and the software installer on seaglance.eu/owners. Nothing is shipped. It is sold to buyers everywhere except the United Kingdom. Your owner code is shown right after payment and sent with your invoice.

Delivery

Boxes ship to the EU, the United Kingdom and the United States, by letter post without tracking or as a tracked parcel (your choice at checkout), and e-mail you when it is on its way. For the United Kingdom and the United States, any import VAT, duties or handling fees charged on arrival are paid by the buyer. If we cannot ship within the time stated at your order, we tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.

Your right to change your mind (14 days)

You may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after you receive it, without giving a reason. Tell us by e-mail at info@seaglance.eu (you may use the EU model withdrawal form, but you don't have to). Send the box back within 14 days after telling us; you pay the return postage. We refund the price and the original standard shipping within 14 days of your message, by the payment method you used, once the box is back or you show it was sent. Return the boards unsoldered: we may deduct the loss of value if they have been soldered or used beyond what is needed to check them. The owner code is blocked after a withdrawal.

Online (digital) orders: before paying you ask us to give you access at once and confirm that you then lose the right to withdraw. Your owner code is shown right after payment, so from then on an online order can't be withdrawn from. Is the content faulty or not as described? The legal guarantee below still applies.

Guarantee

The legal guarantee of conformity applies: 2 years from delivery for the boards and booklets as delivered. Tell us about a fault within 2 months of finding it. The guarantee does not cover damage from soldering, wiring or parts added by you, nor the build you make with the set: how it is built and powered is your responsibility. Follow the safety section of the assembly guide. For online orders, we keep the files available and in working order for at least 2 years from your purchase.

Files and licence

The print files, drawings, guides and software that come with your set are for building, repairing and keeping SeaGlance units for yourself. You may not share, publish or sell them. SeaGlance is a trademark of the seller.

Complaints and law

Write to info@seaglance.eu; we answer within 7 days. Belgian law applies, without taking away the protection the law of your own EU country gives you as a consumer. You can also go to the Consumer Mediation Service (consumentenombudsdienst.be).
