This website is a plain information page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, and shows no adverts. The fonts and images are served from this site itself, so your browser contacts no other company when you read it.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details when you load a page, in order to deliver it and protect the site from abuse. SeaGlance does not receive or keep these details. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The SeaGlance device

SeaGlance fetches wave data straight from public ocean data services (NOAA, the Irish Marine Institute and CDIP) and looks for software updates. It sends no personal data, has no account, no camera and no microphone. Your Wi-Fi name and password stay on the device; Settings › Factory reset or Forget Wi-Fi erases them.

Mailing list

There is no mailing list yet. When sign-up opens, this page will say who keeps the list, what is stored and how to leave it, and sign-up will need your clear consent.
